procedurally UDIM a grid

I just can’t figure this one out. I want to use UDIM textures from a converted heightfield mesh, but can’t workout how to get UDIM uvs that will match the output of the heightfield output when I set it to tile.  I’ve limitation on the current project software options and the heightfield needs to be converted to mesh and exported for rendering in Maya and Arnold.  So the plan was to

  • Export from heightfield UDIM textures and setup shader in Maya

  • Export mesh with matching UDIM UVs

  • Render in Arnold


So I need help to create matching UDIM uvs before exporting.
