rkoomera
Hi! Is there a way I can connect two points to form an edge? I made this short screen recording showing how this can be done in blender. https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gunmPOn I think the poly split node should be used to achieve this. But the process takes way too long and the bevel does not create a circle. I'm sure there's a better way to do this. This is a screen recording of me trying to do the same in Houdini - https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gunmP6k Thank you!
Fenolis
Is it possible for you to record with something like OBS and process through https://ezgif.com/maker or just provide screenshots with annotation arrows pointing for emphasis? These links are quite terrible.

Fenolis
@konstantin magnus has a tutorial that relates to the particular task of creating holes from points - you may be able to adapt this method to suit your needs. Personally, I would suggest selecting the faces around the point, using a PolyExtrude with a small inset and scale the front face to 0, and fusing the close points together. konstantin magnus
Thank you @Fenolis, but nowadays I would rather suggest using the circle from edges-node. Here's a procedure for dynamically adding holes on a parametric surface: holes.hipnc
