andrejklimov
Good Afternoon All, I have few points that for some reason jumping around. Is there a way to keep the animation and maintain point numbers in the same order, for Rivet to move other geometries? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Alexdezh
I guess you can extract the first frame from your alembic and animate it by transferring @P from the rest of the sequence.
andrejklimov
Thank you, Yes that what I had in mind, but my Vex experience is not there yet in order to copy transformation from the nearest point. Or transfer transformation matrix. Or am I overthinking it? Who can show the approach?
Alexdezh
You can use a custom solver with Attribute Transfer node inside. Here is my take on the problem: Point stabilization.hipnc I decreased alembic fps to 15. There are some jittery motions at 25 fps. I'm not sure if it was intended or it's just artifacts.
andrejklimov
Simple but brilliant, thank you. Completely forgot the power of the solver.
