NoaX
I have a line a point that is animated, and over time they are added inside a group based on criteria. I'd like to store the frame at which the point is first added to the group, and delete this point. It seems so simple, and frankly embarrassing I can't solve easily - I have tried solvers or perhaps hardcode an age to the points.. but no luck! delete.hiplc Edited February 28, 2022 by NoaX
Ziyad
Hey Nelson, I attached a hip file showing how you could store the frame at which each point is being added to the "delete" group. I'm not sure I understand why you wish to store the frames but also at the same time delete the points once they get added to the group. If the points are deleted then the attribute used to store the frame will be gone too haha. Apologies if I mis-understood! delete.hiplc

And thank you, The idea is to copy for example a sphere to each point, but have the sphere exist for only one frame so that I might use it to emit RBD
Ziyad
ahh I'm sorry then, you can ignore the first reply/hip file! I updated it here, the points will only be visible for a single frame and that is when they first get added to the "delete" group. delete.hiplc
NoaX
This is a clever way to do it, after taking a nap it seems so obvious! Thank you - let me see if I can add something else here for others in the future who face this problem!
