Hyrulean
Hi everyone, I am having an issue I never had to deal with before, since I used to use Arnold and just render from Mantra for many years. Basically I have a few spectra on my ocean and some of them have the volumes going really high (around 30 milion voxels or so) and I was wondering if there is anything I could do to ressample these volumes and not make them as heavy, without losing too much detail. Any ideas? Thank you.
kushaldas
You could always cull the volumes to only be within the camera frustum of your shot. Try not to push the Resolution Exponent further than you need to as well, or try creating a system where there's lower resolution spectra further from camera
