Pyro smoke to text

Hi, I've been asked to do a fire simulation in which the smoke/soot emitted by it becomes a cloudy text. A little bit like that 

I'm having trouble figuring out how to proceed. I've tried using gastargetforce combined with damp force but doesn't stick enough to the font and it damps my fire. I've looked into negative divergence but It only sucks all the density. Maybe I'm not using it properly...

 

Any advices would be appreciated, thanks!

I was using gastargetforce to make the attraction, gasequalizedensity and gasblenddensity were used to average the smoke throughout the goal. Hope it helps.
