uvsample function in VOPs?

I have a setup working well for creating cracks on a sheet of geometry using the uvsample function to translate the point along a spline to a specific UV based world position on the target geo, however, I'd LIKE to introduce a noise into it to give it some variation, and for that, I prefer to use VOPs. However, I can't find the uvsample function in VOP land, is there an equivalent VOP under a different name?
