epatrickUA Posted January 9, 2024 Share Posted January 9, 2024 Been trying to figure this one out for a bit. I am trying to export a piece of geometry that is "invisible" in an fbx format. I don't mean using the "export invisible objects" as ... in the ROP FBX Output node. Rather, I need the object to retain a material that is completely clear, and well invisible. I am trying to do this to import this object into another piece of software, Vstitcher to use as a blocker object on simulation. I have tested this manually in Blender. I can make a transparent material with an alpha of 0 and export/import to vstitcher and it shows up clear/not visible but can still be simulated against. Just not having any luck with FBX export from Houdini. Any ideas or tips are appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
