Export FBX with "clear" or invisible parts

Been trying to figure this one out for a bit. I am trying to export a piece of geometry that is "invisible" in an fbx format. I don't mean using the "export invisible objects" as ... in the ROP FBX Output node. Rather, I need the object to retain a material that is completely clear, and well invisible. I am trying to do this to import this object into another piece of software, Vstitcher to use as a blocker object on simulation.

I have tested this manually in Blender. I can make a transparent material with an alpha of 0 and export/import to vstitcher and it shows up clear/not visible but can still be simulated against.

Just not having any luck with FBX export from Houdini. Any ideas or tips are appreciated.
