Attaching Geometry To Mocap Data From 3dequalizer

HI!

Im trying to replace a stick rotating in 3 dimensional space with a CG one. The stick has been tracked with 3d equaliser. I managed to track 6 points from the shot footage in 3dequalizer and managed to export these points to Houdini. They've come in as a series of points with transform sops on them. The information is not perfect but i suppose it can be tweaked. All the animation is at geometry level on these individual transform sops with no rotational data. When all these transformed points are joined with a line it gives the original motion of the stick being rotated in 3d space.

i need to attach my object in place of this line and make sure it is oriented in the right way. I am not entirely sure how to attach an object in this case...Any suggestion or help in this regard would be deeply appreciated...
