aracid Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Hey Petz Yeah there actually there is, infact im doing that right now on a project where i am uzing an image to dictate how deep ice shards should be extruded, look into the expression tex (string, float, float, string) what u can do is extrude the surface by no value and then use the point sop + tex expression to perturb the surface. via using the same expression u can ie modify the normal via ie - sin (tex ("default.pic", $BBZ,$BBX,r)*360) and then when u copy ur objects onto the point. take a look at the file attached. hope this helps. brian extrude.hipnc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
