diana
Hi, I am learning Houdini, and the class I'm using Houdini is a lighting class. However, I can't choose a shadow color unless I build my own vex shader or using the way Sidefx has in the help menu which is to use two lights that are the exact compliment of each other. I want to know is there another way to choose a shadow color? I have been lighting the ground plane to influence the color for the shadow, but it also lights up all of the ground plane, even the parts that I don't want to have the same color. Please advise if there's another way to choose a shadow color.

For Houdini 9.0: Yours is a really good point - and I totally agree, btw; the default Light should support coloured shadows. Please voice this on the SESI H9 Public Beta Forum as I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for them to add it for H9.
