Jason Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Unfortunately Houdini's snapping tools are not really as nicely streamlined for modeling tasks as you'd hope, so you still have to make an extra step to do some simple snapping tasks. But this is how you can do it: put a template flag on your Grid geometry and turn on snapping and in the Snap Options make the snapping only snap to template. In this way your Edit SOP (which you will use to move the point) will snap to your undeformed original geometry. It's a general solution to something which ought to be just a hotkey away.
