Ray Intersect Vop Sop (vex)

Hey guys,

once more i need your assistence.

i'm tryng to use the vex intersect on sop level to find intersections between neighbouring points.

defenatly not the easy'st thing to do.

now the first thing i noteced about the interscect node is that it needs a file.

do i realy need to render my object out as a file ?? or is there a way around that ?

secondly i want to add a point at the world position the ray intersects a primative.

because i'm very new to vex i would like to know how to create a second input on a vop sop node and how to import the global variables for that sop.

oke so i managed to get past the whole neighbor thing and now onto the actual ray casting with the intersect node.

so i used a lookat node to calculate the direction to its first neigbouring point.

but... it outputs a 3x3 matrix and i need a directional vector.

but i can't seem to find a node that converts this ?

dose anyone know a way ?
