This opens the possibilty of making edge groups procedurally and passing them into sops that only currently handle edge groups created manually. I know you can do this with some cunning string expressions but I thought it might be handy to have a sop method to do this too. The way this works is you pass in named point groups and a string parameter is created with the correct formatting to make an edge group that can then be referenced into sops requiring an edge group.
