cspears2002
Hi! I am having trouble installing a license for Houdini Apprentice HD. I currently have Houdini 9.0.768 and Houdini 8.2.13 Apprentice Versions on a Dell laptop running Windows XP. Using the License Administrator, I was able to install the Houdini-Master-NonCommercial 9.0 and Render-NonCommercial 9.0 licenses. However, I got an error message when I tried to install the Houdini Apprentice HD 9.0 license. I then tried to install the HD license manually by entering the LICENSE key into the Houdini License Administrator. I got the following error message: Key 1: Install Error: Invalid license key specified ERROR: Key installation failed for DG5NW181 Does anyone know what can be causing this? Grrr! This is frustrating!
photex
THat bulid of Houdini wasn't ready to accept the license. Upgrade to the latest build and you should be good to go.
