Achayan Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Hi All First i am very very new to Houdini and trying to learn myself so i will ask more questions here please help me I have a doubt in houdini there is node is in houdini called as network box and we can use nbadd for adding but while i am using that command nothing is coming to my netview .. can you just tell me how i can add a networkbox smile.gif and in maya script editor we can see what maya is writing in history is there is any editor like in houdini wink.gif please help me ... michael Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 it looks like you're in the wrong place in the scene file... the textport works like a file system: / -> this means you're at the root of the Houdini scene type cd /obj this will put you here: /obj -> type: ls this will list all the objects in your scene. then type: nbadd -v test this will create a netbox at the /obj level called test signup for the free 3DBuzz Houdini Course www.3dbuzz.com then watch the videos - especially the one called "Network Paths in Houdini", this is important information if you want to use Houdini.
