Korhon
Hello! I got a simple problem! I got a scene that im rendering with motionblur. But there are some objects i dont want to be motionblured. So how can i turn off motionblur on objects? And another motionblur problem i got is when using Delayed Read Archives. In the helpfile it says that i should load a blur file and use the shutter atributte on the DealyedReadArchive node to control the shutter intensity. But im not having any luck with it!! The DelayedReadArchive file contains loads of particles. Anyone got some experiense using this? Thanks!
stevenong
Hi, You have to add parameters to the objects you don't want motion blurred. Click on the Gear icon, select Edit Rendering Parameters..., in the left column's Filter, type in "blur" and expand the Mantra 9.0 or 9.1 folder depending on which version you're using. You should see "Enable Motion Blur", select it and click on the Right arrow in the center bar. Now, you can control which objects you don't want motion blurred. As for Delayed Load, you can't use it with Velocity Blur. I had the same problem until I read through the node's Help under the Motion Blur section. Note This procedural does not support velocity blur. Good luck! Cheers! steven
Korhon
Thanks alot Stevenong! To bad the DelayedLoad dont work with VelocityBlur!! Is there another way to load particles at rendertime with velocity blur? When im doing heavy particle simulations houdini takes loads of ram and theres less ram left for manta use. stevenong
Unfortunately, there's no other way. But please add your voice here. Cheers! steven
