cs00bren
hello there. the problesm is the landscape is getting so complicated it's starting to not render(takes such a long time it just doesn't produce a readable file). and as i can't get the network render to work using textures (refer to different thread on network render). i have decided it could be time to start using compositing the only thing i can't understand is how do you get thing to hide behind each other. what i'm trying to say is i've got a particles system which has grass instanced on to it. but not all of it is viewable at once as the hill gets in the way. so if i render just the landscape(grid) and the grass and COP the i will also get the grass from the other side of the hill. so what do you do to avoid this. i hope you understand the question cheers anyway bren.
