T-bat
Hi, I don't know how to get rid of that crosshatched like shading in the central part in Volume Smoke example. Any help? Edited May 16, 2008 by T-bat
ihab
you can try decreasing the " Volume Step Size " in the mantra rop right underneath the sampling. It defaults to 0.1 so you can take it down to 0.05 and see what happens. Also maybe it has something to do with the resolution and/or sampling of the depth shadow map. cheers Edited May 16, 2008 by ihab
T-bat
Thank you, but I forgot to add that increasing quality of rendering ( lowering Volume Step Size, increasing Pixel Samples, etc. ) shows this more. On the other hand lower quality settings hide these in noise.
