kubabuk
Hi all, I would like to create one curve out of lines imported form autocad. The thing is that autocad treats each segment of a line as a single entity so in houdini each segment is turned into primitive. Also very often point numbering is not consistent and doesn't grow with the flow of the line. Rebuilding using an add sop doesn't work. Do you have any idea how can I approach this? PS. there is an adobe illustrator plugin called concatenate which does exactly what I am looking for. http://rj-graffix.com/software/plugins.html kuba
old school
Use the Joint SOP. It has an option to connect closest ends. You'll need that checked on.
kubabuk
Thanks Jeff, Works in 98% which is still great! One suggestion for anyone with similar issue, before using join sop it is good to fuse points and tick "only connected" on join sop. Gets rid of flipping edges problem. Good day to everyone! kuba
