GallenWolf
Try setting a wider aperture? Is the focal distance correct? I'm definitely able to to do DOF on a PBR render, but it seems to be more subtle than using the MP engine. GW
anamous
It definitely works (when enabled). Try out something ridiculous for F-Stop (like 0.01) and work your way up or down from there. Don't know why the values are so funny. cheers, Abdelkareem
RonensArt
Thank You Guys, The "F-stop" was the bitch.
old school
A couple things. First the Camera has a focus handle that you can manipulate in the viewport. Select the Camera. Press the handle tool on the left hand side (or hit the "y" key or enter) You will get the standard orient handle. RMB on the handle and in the menu choose the Focus Handle. Now manipulate the cube and the arrows to see the focus area. This adjusts the Focus Distance and the F-Stop. Second is the Focal Units. Maya uses mm's for some measurements but inches to define others. H9 has a Focal Units parameter that sets the units for the Focal Length and Aperture along with the Focus Distance and F-Stop. Maybe setting this to inches will help get you more familiar values...
