cusp polys and invert normals for big scene

hey there.

i'm trying for over an hour now to cusp my polys and invert my normals of all my objects in my scene.

i downloaded the classroom scene from cgtalk and wanted to play around with it.

so my problem is, the facet sop is supposed to get connected directly 2 levels up to the geometry.. if i'll do that with the whole scene i wouldn't be finished in the next 3 yrs.

as i don't have any scripting knowledges and being a bloody beginner in houdini, ..is there any chances someone will tell me how to get my geometry working?

ok.. i figured out, i can drag select all objects in the viewport and then add a facet and a reverse node for all selected objects.

in the viewport the normals are facing the right direction now but the image is still black and white (looks like an fucked up alpha).

material is assigned, light is in the scene, uhm what could it be? :blink:
