kensonuken
Ive been trying to make some custom shaders which is similar to peterBowmar`s rendering separate lights with different passes so I would like to know how do I add gloss parameter in the PJB BRDF functions? I know the equation what makes the gloss spec but how do I design a node which can make the illum loop to work with it.. any suggestions please help me... Alanw
Jeff Wagner from SideFX has a very nice blog entry that deals with this subject. Old School Blog You can use Peter's nodes as reference as well since they should be fairly similar to what you're trying to create with the exception that Peter uses built-in VEX functions. Good Luck!
kensonuken
ohh its the place I need to integrate the code... now I got it... thanks alot Alan.. I want to make sss with all these diffuse and specs to output per lights.. so i need to find sss code... I found 3delight`s sss which is really good enough for my application is there anything like that in Mantra? which is as good enough as 3delight? I just need to do these things and I am almost done for my current requirement..... Edited December 4, 2008 by kensonuken
