kensonuken
I was just thinking a classical way of rendering into different light passes for one light at a time instead in parallel but I doubt how does it impact in render time in production..? I thought of going for Illum method which works fine with few functions which has illum loops code available .. I was just thinking to use multiple lights to render out all the diff, spec, gloss, aniso into their respective passes instead of rendering them in one go... but I just wanted to know few opinions on " how does this impacts the render time " is it significant in production? I was thinking in the way where it hardly takes time to load the geometry into the RAM before it computes and why dont we go with the conventional way... like for sss as its discussed before that we need to render that out in light pass for each lights ... I thought of giving all these bunches of ifd scripts for each lights as one block over the renderfarm so that after executing each block other block continues... I would like to know your opinion guys...
