boogiboy
Hi guys, What the best way to create foam mask in houdini, around drifting boat or ship to use it for particle emission or in shader. Thanks
GallenWolf
Heya! Do you mean just like a selection of points around a piece of geometry? I would suggest a metaball grouping solution. Much faster than using geometry. Here's a sample attached. HTHs! Hmm if you are going down the shader route, I would try using point clouds for the "ship" geometry, and for each shaded point base white/dark areas between the distance between the shaded point and the nearest point to the geometry's point cloud. Also, welcome to Odforce! GeoAroundGeo.hipnc
