velocity blur

Hey Guys,

I think I have a simple question that I am having trouble with.

How do I get velocity blur to render on a Mantra rop? My Geometry has a velocity attribute

and if I drop in a H8Mantra rop it renders the velocity blur but if I drop in a Mantra rop it will

not render the velocity blur. I tried going to the gear box and adding geometry velocity blur but that did not seem to

work.

Any insight?

Hi Walter,

Have you enabled "allow motion blur" under the properties tab of the mantra rop? It is disabled by default, silly how many times this gets me

You need to turn on the "Geometry Velocity Blur" checkbox on your object node

(under the Render tab I think. Don't have H in front of me right now.)

Woot! That was it, I was forgetting to turn on the Velocity blur on the geo. You know, I have used this option before and it skipped my mind.
