sanlin
Hi guys i was wondering is there any way that we can apply RBD fracture inside another RBD fracture? for example, i want to create a block that is broken into big chunks, while this big chunks hit the ground, it will break into smaller chunks... thank you
bhaveshpandey
yes this this can be achieved with RBD glue object.. but I dont know whether it will be called RBD inside an RBD?? I suggest divide the Fracture simulations into layers by writing out the sim to disc..this will save time if you'd do all of the sim (with object breaking into bigger chunks and then on collision into smaller chunks) the simulation will take insane amount of time hope this helps
sanlin
hi, thank you bhaveshpandey. im not sure myself how do they called it, i just made the name anyway... sorry, but i dont quite understand what you mean with layering the RBD... do you mean to run the big chunk simulation first until it approximately reach the ground (before impact), and then write it (bake) it using file node. then use the initial state to continue running the simulation from the last position of the big chunk?
