jedijones
Hi All, just wondering if there is a way to store a materials properties into a bgeo file. This could be useful when one td is shader writing for lots of objects, but the lighting TD would only need those bgeo files without, for examlple they would just tab in the file into a pbr lighting set up and its ready to go, this would be good for instancing hundreds of objects in a hip file without the need to have any vops in the scene please note i dont mean texture baking or illumination baking. can anyone help on this please? michael
yeah there are at least two major issues with this... updating the geometry would be a pain detail attributes can bloat geometry files beyond comprehension...
