MENOZ
Hello! I noticed that polywireSop continues to allocate memory until houdini crashes, giving the memory allocation error. Try to create a poly object, append a polywireSop, now in the task manager take a look at houdini's memory. play with the polywireSop, change the radius, check and uncheck something.. the memory grows. If i go in the cache manager and clear the cache it seems to remain unaffected. I tried to use the Unload flag on the node but nothing happens. I'm on winXP, 2GB ram, lot of free space on hard disks. I noticed this happen navigating in the houdini's help pages, the memory continue to grow, but never unloaded, even if I close the help pane. anybody knows if this is a bug? Should I configure something about memory allocation in houdini? some gobal varialbes to set? thank you
aracid
hey man I haven't experienced that exact bug, but try submitting a bug/RFE on sidefx.com or try making sure u have the latest build available. I hate it when scenes just leak memory and something like that happens :/
