obj exprot and uv overlap

Hi,

Has anyone run into this problem...

I am exporting .obj files from Houdini to maya and when I import the obj file into Maya the UVs are not welded, they are overlapping each other.

The UVs are correct they just are not connected.

Is there a way to weld the uvs in Houdini?

Any suggestion are appreciated.
