Vorticle force in a pop sim?

I want to have particles come near the floor (like dust from crumbling stuff) and swirl with vorticle style force with minimal or no fluids. I just want a noise field or something that I can get that same effect with. Does anyone know how to generate that? I am drawing a blank on it. If I use fluids I'd just let the fluids run, but when it is particles.....I have no idea.

Is it possible or already here I just don't know where to look?

have you taken a look at the vorticle dop?

you can apply that force onto particles

I know there's a vorticle dop, but I can't use that in pops, can I? Or is there a way to pass the stuff through to dops and back to the pops sim?

------Edit

No, I'm not experienced enough with dops to know how....can you tell/show me? Thank you so much for your help!

yeah, u can bring your pop network into DOPS and use that force

using a POP solver

It always says "Unexpected subdata" when I try to attach gasvorticle to a pop solver on the green input. I tried on gas vorticle forces putting gas vorticle geometry into it and a pop solver in the gray input, but no go. It doesn't make sense....
