ranxerox
hey all, is there a way to get an elliptical orbit using the orbit pop ? I know I can scale the whole popnet, but this is going to scale any other forces I apply as well in the same manner. any ideas ? thanks -ranxx
Guest Swann
Try using VopPOP after orbitPOP and use transformMatrix (inside VopPOP) to scale P. Or use math but I'm not familiar enough with it to help you. I'm just repeating it right know. Look on Wikipedia for some Elipse formulas. kubabuk
How about using vop pop just as Swann is saying but instead modifying position, scale one of velocity's component. This I guess should give you more elongated shape.
