nmn
Hi everybody a simple question, if i have a grid with UVs for it, then i create a material for which the color is a ramp, what would be the method with which i can get the colors of this ramp to the color parameter in the ogl tab, so i can see it in the viewport ? and is there a way to be able to see the ramp in the UV editor so the editing of the UVs accordingly will be easier ? Thanks for your help Regards Edited May 19, 2009 by nmn
edward
I think the closest to doing is this is to run a similar VOP SOP network that adds the point color (Cd) attribute. I've attached a simple example with animated uv's so that you can see it working during playback. rampColors.hip
nmn
Thanks you very much edward for the fast reply, it's what i needed , but i thought there is some built in thingy like in maya or else i wish the representation in the UV editor could also be fully shaded not only the edges but that will suffice for the moment though Thanks again Regards
