bareja Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Hi, i have a question about memory and dops. Houdini sets 500MB of cache for every DOP network(Cache Manager). It is possible to change that value in prefereneces? I just want to set this value to 1000MB and i don't want to set up this manualy in Cache Manager. Please help, Thanks. I don't think you can set it in Preferences, but you can go to the Simulation tab of the DOP network itself and change the Cache Memory value there. Then click on the "gear" icon at the top of the Parameter window and choose "Save as Permanent Default" and all new DOP nets should get that same value.
