Farsheed Ashouri
Hi again. I wrote a MEL script few years ago that creates point/spot light based on a texture on a surface. Here is that mel script: sLight.mel.zip And some screenshots: How can I do this in houdini? I tried to scatter point lights on a grid but I couldn't. The main point is how can I gather RGB information of the texture or custom image on a nurbs surface and assign it to a nearest light. what I want is a fake HDRI tool. Thank you in advanced.
