whitecaps collision with liquid container surface - problem

Hi,

The setup is using an object to move around in a liquid container, and using the whitecaps tool to emit foam from the peaks and splashes. I am getting the whitecap emission as expected, but by default they just pass thru the surface of the liquid container. I am able to get collisions, but once they contact the surface, they start shooting off into space. My suspicion is that the poly count is changing from frame to frame on the resulting liquid surface (triangulated of course), causing major instability. I have written the triangulated mesh to disk, tweaked the collision settings, even set it to slide, but no luck. I will probably end up going with fluid particles to do this, but it would be nice to have this as an alternative. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

G1
