rd1010
With the help of people on this forum I've finally gotten my first custom VEX shader to work with an opacity map (the "simple working" file) but now I am trying to apply this concept to a VEX shader that is based off the reflective material that comes with houdini but am running into problems. (the "reflective material with transparency map" file) ((My goal in doing this is to make parts of the reflective material completely invisible as I am using this in combination with a displacement map so it can create what appears to be a network of separate geometry shapes.)) I would greatly appreciate if anyone can take a look and offer input as I've been trying this every which way that makes sense to me but so far nothing is working. Thanks reflective material with transp map.hipnc simple working.hipnc Edited September 6, 2009 by rd1010
