DaJuice
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed similar behavior. When rendering with DoF, the area around the focal point has poor anti-aliasing. I've seen this with both MP and PBR modes, and I think it affects all reyes and raytracing engines. It doesn't appear to be related to pixel filters or shading quality settings or the type of geometry being rendered. A couple of renders that showcase the problem: First pic, no DoF, everything is fine. Second pic, notice the bad AA in the reflections. Third pic, really obvious at the right edge of the cube. Edit: These were rendered with 8x8 pixel samples btw. Increasing the pixel samples does reduce the problem, but even with 32x32 samples it's still evident. Cheers.
