rebo Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 When in the network pane i do TAB>geo>return , i would like to place that OP down without having to move to the mouse click and back to keyboard again. This is so i can immediately enter into the geo object by pressing return again. I know its silly, it just irks me a bit, is there a (hot)key for it ? michael Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 there is a setting called "Place New Tiles Immediately" but it doesn't work with solo tiles (tiles not connected to others) I've noticed this as well...and it's kinda annoying...it would be nice to hit Enter to choose the OP then Enter again to put it down right where the mouse is in the network pane...hmmmm.... Mcronin Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 What about tab -> g -> LMB on Geo-> RMB to place it-> Then LMB click on the arrow (->) in the address bar, or whatever you want to call it, right above the network panel. cytrox Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 Instead of clicking the arrow, you could also alt+left click the tile to go into the network. Might be even faster, as the mouse pointer is already over the tile after you placed it. (And in the network, you can alt+middle click on any tile to go up to the parent network.)
