mestela Posted September 15, 2014 Share Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Here's my attempt: transformer_cube.hipnc Things that need some love: When the number of points gets low, the cubes start to move on angles; their movement should always be restricted to straight lines I can't make the first frame be a clean rest state, it always has a few cubes shifted by a small amount. I'm sure its an easy fix, but I couldn't see it Can you pass parameters to instance objects to be read by a material? I can colour the moving cubes if I use a copy, but couldn't work out a way with fast point instancing Maybe tag a 'target' cube, so that all the cubes try and march themselves to a common goal Anyway, hope it helps.
