eloop Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Hi, I'd suggest you ask this question in the more general forum to catch a wider audience because really all the HOT is doing is giving you an animated geometry. It's not doing any dynamics or solving of flow equations, so really there is nothing HOT specific involved, you are just wanting to collide rigid bodies with an animated piece of geometry. Look at the Ripple surface node which can probably be overlaid on top of a hot deforming surface, I haven't tried it but it's the first thing I would look at. One day it would be nice to have an integrated iWave (see "Simulation of Interactive Surface Waves" http://tessendorf.org/reports.html) module in the HOT ... -Drew Hi~ How can i make water-like deformation when i use HOT surface collide with rigid body?
