almatea Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 preamble i do scattering 150 000 of points on sphere. then this 150 000 points fly away with particle simulation with wind. =========== i want to compute a normal if each point AFTER desintergation - if point fly. i try to use sdf and compute normal with gradient vop of this sdf, but there is great flickering. result without normal computig result with normal computing with iso surface based on particles as source for normals: any ideas - how to avoid flickering, how to stabilize sdf field?
