~nature~
Hi,everyone, I tried to pull in and replace some RBD object Geometry at the mid simulation (use SOP Geometry), but the RBD simulation perform abnormally from that point on when the RBD object with new geometry hit the ground. I cannot figure out why this happens and need your help here , I've attached a simple houdini 11 file to demonstrate this problem. thanks very much. Best Regards. pullGeo.hipnc
Macha
Does it have to do with the center of mass?
~nature~
Does it have to do with the center of mass? Hi, Macha, I'm not sure about it, it seems the initial transform in SOPs cause this problem, does it modify the center of mass ? but the behavior really looks abstract and have nothing to do with the physics. Put down a RBD state. Group -> object_1 Compute center of mass -> Set Always
