CSN0309
Hi guys~ i want to ignite a piece of paper by candle flame. i have used Pyro to create flame from candle, but i don't know how to use Pyro to "light" that paper. Right now i can only make flame collide with rigid body(paper)...so has anyone got idea on this effect? many thanks
bunker
You can use a SOP Solver to find the intersection between the flame (HEAT field) and the paper. If you scatter points in the heat field and on the paper surface, with and attribute transfer you can quickly find the intersection and emit fuel from those points. A basic example : burnpaper.zip
