yongbin
I have 10 extra image planes in my render image. With the houdini's image viewer, I can see all passes alive. But when I bring it to nuke, I have only 4 "other" passes with shuffle copy. How can I access whole other passes? This is big problem to me. plz help. digitallysane
But when I bring it to nuke, I have only 4 "other" passes with shuffle copy. How do you bring them to Nuke? What file format? You should preferably use OpenEXR for that. Dragos

yongbin
I found my problem. I used float channel with many passes for save my hard disk. And when Nuke find my float channels, merge it to "other" layer's rgba. only 4 channels are used and throw the other channels. So I change my passes to Vector pass. Thank you for help. Green-Man
Despite of old topic it could help somebody. I have a similar problem. I've rendered exr with many AOVs and some of them are not vectors but floats (fresnel, occlusion, etc) MPlay and djv_View shows everything right with custom names and data type of layers. But Nuke shows all float passes in the layer "other" and my specular, fresnel and occlusion passes are components of that "other" vector. In the Shuffle node I see the "other" layer not with r,g,b but with o, s, and f channels (as first letters of my custom names). Ok, its not fatal because I have only three float passes. But the problem is that the same .nk script could output different image. The order of the channels may differ from machine to machine. Its a problem when working with many artists.
