chrisperry05
Hi, I'm creating a scene that is very widescreen about 5:1 ration and i was wondering if it is possible to just render out certain sections of the camera view to save render times? The background is all white but with shadows being cast like an infinty curve for photography. The animation is in set pieces and sometimes one will only fill the right third of the screen sometimes 2 thirds sometimes the whole thing etc. I was hoping there would be some way to just render out a section of the camera view like only the right third of the scene? I have tried setting up multiple cameras but i'm struggling to get the angles etc exactly right as there are times where the animations will overlap. Any help would be really great. anim
there are Left/Right/Bottom/Top Crop parameters on Camera to adjust them interactively select the Camera with the mouse cursor over the viewport(looking through that camera) press Enter to get camera handles then you can adjust red rectangle by the handles, specifying region which will be used for rendering from that camera
anim
and you can of course animate that parameters if you wish
sam.h
use the wedge ROP to set you regions automagically too!
