My Experiments with Mantra

Recommended Posts

In the Mantra Sampling settings lower the Noise Level from 0.02 to 0.01, and increase Max Ray Samples from 9 to 16 or 32.

That should do the trick.

Thanks for the tip.. :)

I got a Better render using following settings

Pixel samples 7 * 7

Min/Max rays 1/12

Noise level .01

jitter 0.015

Reflect limit 2

Refract limit 2

Diffuse limit 1

color limit 4

Photon count 250000

My Machine specs are

Intel i7 950 extreme edition

16 gb RAm

Render time was 7.51 sec

Do you think we can still bring down the render time on this one.

Reduce the Sampling Quality on the Environment Light back to 1

that might not affect your render quality, and will bring the render time way low

let me know if that helps
