Strife
Hi, I want to try high-velocity water gushing out of a mouth like the one in the reference (instead of fire), I increase the number of velocity in the particular direction but it seems quite fake and less convincing. Can anybody give me advice to kick start this? Thank you
Marc
Hey So the problem I would imagine is that a water version of that would be a bit boring? Water shooting out at high pressure could look something like this: http://flashovertv.firerescue1.com/Clip.aspx?key=B402E80F0DEE4B83 But again, pretty boring. Fire has all that cool fluid motion that makes it exciting and visually interesting. To add some drama/visual interest you could add a misty layer that gets blown off the main water stream. That way you can get the fine details and extra motion in without deviating too far from the natural water behaviour.
