Accurate Births on Deforming Geo

I have an animated character that I'm emitting particles from. The source is straight from a BGEO of the animation, so no re-cooking of SOPs etc...

As soon as I turn on Accurate Births, it slows down to an unusable speed, even at low particle emission values (like 1000 particles a/Sec).

Is there something I'm missing? Currently it's unusable for me at these speeds.

if you are importing geometry sequence through File SOP, you need to append TimeBlend SOP in order to get interpolated geometry between frames

(this will work only if your topology is consistent for all frames of geo sequence)

accurate births are very slow indeed, i have never used it personally, above thread will give you some ideas how you can avoid using it
